Julia Langley

Julia Langley, MA, MBA, Faculty Director, Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program is a pioneer in the field of arts in medicine. As the first art historian to serve on faculty of a major university medical center, Julia leads a program promoting a holistic approach to healthcare for patients, caregivers, medical staff and community members through the use of music, movement, expressive writing, and visual arts.

She manages eighteen professional artists-in-residence and two Georgetown University undergraduate student groups who work throughout MedStar Georgetown University Hospital to promote healing, resilience, and wellness. Julia also teaches medical humanities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Noni Ford

Noni Ford, PMP, MA is the Program Manager of the Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program, where she has served for over two years. In this role, she leads the development and execution of initiatives that integrate the arts into patient care, education, and community engagement. She oversees program strategy and communications, ensuring that initiatives are thoughtfully designed, effectively implemented, and accessible to a broad audience.

Noni manages student volunteers, oversees program databases and digital platforms, and coordinates a portfolio of free online classes hosted on Thinkific. She also directs the planning and execution of art exhibitions and special events, creating meaningful opportunities for connection and expression for patients, families, and the community.

She holds a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a bachelor’s degree in Theater, Film & Media Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Mara Lewis

Mara Lewis is the Program Assistant of the AHP. She is a senior at Georgetown University in the College of Arts & Sciences. Mara is studying Psychology and minoring in Education, Inquiry, and Justice (EDIJ).

Mara aspires to be a clinical psychologist and is passionate about understanding multifaceted approaches to mental health and well-being. Around Georgetown’s campus, she plays on the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Team and is a 2026 Education and Social Justice Fellow. She is also a Student Tutor at the Georgetown Writing Center. Mara is excited to support the AHP’s mission to bring a creative and constructive response to illness, and promote wellness!

Mara will be supporting the CuraCreativity Online Class Program, and managing communications on our social media platform and monthly newsletter.
