Authorship Policy

Guidelines for acknowledgement of the support and intellectual contributions of GUMC-Lombardi Shared Resources in publications are described in the SR Publication Policy. The page describes how to acknowledge the grant-funded support of the Shared Resource and how to determine if the contributions merit co-authorship of any manuscripts resulting from the work.

In all publications that include data derived or methods used from the Histopathology and Tissue Shared Resource, please acknowledge our resource. The Histopathology and Tissue Shared Resource is partially supported by NIH/NCI grant P30 CA051008.

Due to the heavy academic input that goes into a full multiplex IHC development and analysis project, we ask that in any publications including data from such projects the multiplex IHC staff involved receive authorship on the publication. Similarly, if expert pathology services or other areas of expertise from the HTSR are utilized, authorship on publications is requested if appropriate.
