Your support makes a difference!
Philanthropic support is more important than ever, given the economic realities and challenges that face academic healthcare centers like Georgetown and Lombardi. It makes the critical difference between simply maintaining ongoing programs and pursuing new ideas and translating research advances into clinical use for countless individuals who now have or may develop cancer. You can help generate new knowledge vital to conquering cancer, a family of diseases that kills half a million Americans each year.
Contributions can be made for general support of our research and patient care initiatives, or designated for a specific purpose or need, such as breast cancer research, gastrointestinal cancer research, health disparities, childhood cancers, and new equipment or facilities.
Ways to Make a Gift: Most contributions come to us in the form of cash, usually by check. We also welcome gifts of securities, real estate and other appreciated property, as well as those through estate plans. More information.
Other Ways to Give: Commemorative Gifts, Major and Planned Gifts, and Cause Marketing Opportunities
All gifts benefit the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and are tax-deductible to the full extent specified by the law.
Our development staff will be pleased to assist you. For more information on giving and gift planning, please call the Lombardi development office at (202) 687-2222.
