Early Career Leadership Council (ECLC)

The Georgetown Lombardi Early Career Leadership Council (ECLC) is a group of at least 12 elected early career faculty members — four faculty members from each Georgetown Lombardi research program — from the Georgetown Lombardi D.C. and New Jersey catchment areas.

Mission

The Georgetown Lombardi ECLC has the mission to support early career faculty members’ professional and leadership development and professional advancement, and to advocate for the needs of early career faculty members to Georgetown Lombardi leadership.

Purpose

Participating members of the ECLC support the vision to increase diversity within Georgetown Lombardi membership and leadership and create and sustain a culture of equity and inclusive excellence for individuals across all levels of experience and rank.

Members of the ECLC provide input and guidance to the cancer center to support early and mid-career faculty, along with sharing strategic ideas and input on leadership development opportunities. ECLC Members serve a two-year term.
