Training and Education Initiatives

Efforts include providing funding to support leadership coaching or external leadership training. This leadership training is for individuals who are Georgetown Lombardi affiliates or full members who are from populations with less presence in cancer leadership. The Cancer Research, Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) and Community Outreach and Education support the engagement of trainees from populations with less presence in cancer research. Please see the Call for Proposals for students and trainees to apply for funding support.

We also collaborate with other Georgetown Offices, including the Georgetown University School of Medicine Academy for Research, Clinical, and Health Equity Scholarship (ARCHES) Program for ARCHES Fellows focused on cancer research.
