CURE-M Summer Internship Application Portal is Open!

The Cancer Undergraduate Research Experience and Mentorship – CURE-M 2026 Summer Internship Program is a full-time, 10-week paid internship at Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The portal to apply is now open on the program website.

Deadline: February 6, 2026, or until 500 eligible applications are received.

Eligibility:

  • Open to Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
  • Interest in STEM, cancer, and/or biomedical research
  • Applicants from groups who lack exposure in biomedical research are strongly encouraged to apply

Program Details

  • 10-week full-time program available beginning June 1, 2026 ($5000 sti
  • In-Person/Virtual workshops, seminars, scientific meetings, mentoring, and career development activities during the 2026-2027 academic year
  • Carefully matched Mentors and Peer Mentors for each Intern
  • Georgetown on-campus housing is offered free of charge, if needed (in addition to the stipend)
