Cancer Research
Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths, accounting for nearly a third of all deaths due to cancer. It is imperative that we explore newer and better treatments for patients with lung cancer. Our robust research program within the Interdisciplinary Lung Cancer Clinic (ILC) offers a wide range of clinical trials for patients with lung cancer, exploring novel therapeutics. Additionally, we are also performing studies to understand the biology of lung cancer, with an aim to develop strategies for early diagnosis and tailor therapies to the needs of individual patients.
