Lombardi Physicians Among Newsweek’s “Top Cancer Doctors 2015”

July 27, 2015 — Working with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, Newsweek has published a list of the best oncologists in the country. The recently released “Top Cancer Doctors 2015” includes over 20 physicians from Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Network.
Castle Connolly says they consulted numerous specialists, departmental chairs, and members of the medical field to narrow down nearly 100,000 peer nominations. In addition to Director Louis Weiner and Deputy Director Michael Atkins, the list also acknowledges Lombardi’s leaders in breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and other disease specialties.
