Mid-Career Faculty Development Bootcamp

Associate and full professors interested can inquiry about funding support through LCCC DEI to attend this external leadership bootcamp taking place February 6-8, 2024. This event is presented by the Rush Offices of Faculty Affairs and Mentoring Programs, Rosalind Franklin University, and Southern Illinois University was created to propel professional growth. The innovative, continuing education eligible course addresses crucial leadership and professional challenges for faculty in different stages of their careers. Over three days, you’ll strengthen skills that include:

  • Tools and tactics for leadership
  • Strategies for promotion
  • Scholarship in academic settings
  • Establishing effective mentoring relationships
  • Navigating conflict resolution and difficult conversations
  • Maintaining resilience and work-life balance strategies
  • Career advancement through prioritization and time efficiency
  • Sessions will be held from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. each day on Zoom.
    Attendance is required for all three days.
