About Us
The Psychosocial Oncology Program provides supportive care for the whole person, providing the best healing experience possible for all patients, survivors and their families. It offers a full range of supportive clinical services ensuring that patients, survivors and their families have optimal evidence-based treatments, the highest possible quality of life and, ultimately, greater satisfaction with their overall oncology care. These services include counseling, education, and psychotherapy, along with psychiatric and pharmacological evaluation and treatment. In addition to these services, the psychosocial oncology program provides a mechanism for conducting research associated with patient-reported outcomes to be used to inform clinical care and to develop educational programs for our patients, survivors, and their families.
