Writing for Your Health

Tuesday Evenings, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, in the Nina Hyde Room. Refreshments served.

An introduction to expressive writing for people with cancer and their caregivers
to assist with coping, self-expression and wellbeing.

This workshop will explore:

  • what we know about writing and health
  • managing emotions through improved coping skills
  • write from the heart- leave the editor behind – you are the only expert on you
  • reasons for writing: control, clarity, communication, confront, share
