Ertlschweiger, the 2018 recipient of the Lombardi Spirit of Life Award, shared reflections about her journey as a breast cancer survivor at the 14th annual Women & Wine event.

Gift of Life Breakfast Benefit Supports CBCC's Patient Navigation Work

Alleyah Miner is pictured outside the Med-Dent Building on Georgetown University's campus.In 2008, Alleyah Miner’s mother went to Capital Breast Care Center (CBCC) for a mammogram after feeling a lump in her breast. Miner spoke about her mother's breast cancer journey with CBCC at the 9th Annual Gift of Life Breakfast Benefit. Funds raised at this event allow CBCC to continue its patient navigation work and be there for families like the Miners.
