Clinical Research Informatics (CRI) at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center focus on the application of computational methods to solve problems in biological, biomedical, clinical, and translational research areas. Indeed, many modern scientific problems are too large or complicated to be tractable using conventional methods. The CRI group fills this gap by providing services, products, and advice to the Georgetown Cancer Research Community including consolidation of existing databases and the development of new infrastructure and analytic tools to build the Georgetown Database of Cancer (G-DOC®).
