What is Yards For Youth?

Yards For Youth is an exciting online fundraising campaign for youth-based charitable organizations in the greater Washington region. The campaign uses the Redskins on-field achievements to help raise money for Lombardi.

How Does Yards For Youth Work?

Anyone can participate in the program by pledging a specific amount for each offensive yard gained during the 2005 Washington Redskins season. Offensive yards are the combined total of rushing and passing yards. During the 2004 NFL season, the Washington Redskins gained 4,398 offensive yards. The amount you select will be donated to Lombardi.

Help Us Spread the Word!

We need 300 pledges to meet our goal of raising $50,000 for children's cancer research. You can help by becoming a Team Captain for Yards For Youth. Being a Team Captain is easy. You simply tell friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members about Yards For Youth and encourage them to make a pledge! There is no minimum fundraising or time commitment. Do as much or as little as you like. Anyone can be a Team Captain - kids, adults, grandparents, babysitters, school mates, neighbors, and friends. At the end of the season, Team Captains will receive special recognition from Lombardi.
