Membership Guidelines
Responsibilities for ALL LCCC Members*
- Work towards national/international
professional recognition, high quality
scientific publications, funding to support
research, and mentorship of more junior
colleagues.
- Respond in a timely fashion to requests
from LCCC and Program Leadership for updated
electronic files of publications, grants,
NIH biosketches, other support, and CVs.
- Attend, whenever possible, regular LCCC
and Program meetings and other scheduled
activities.
Specific to Full Members
- LCCC Full Members make a full time
commitment to cancer research and exhibit
evidence of currently active cancer research
and educational activities, including
scientific publications, clinical trials,
and grant funding. Generally Full Members
will be PI's of peer reviewed funding and
will be publishing peer reviewed articles in
the field of cancer research.
- LCCC Full Members will serve as mentors for
Associate Members.
*Membership status will be
reviewed by LCCC leadership on an annual basis.
