Team Lombardi is the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center's marathon training program. For the first time ever, Lombardi has teamed up with The 29th Annual LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon®. Now, Team Lombardi members have the option of representing Lombardi in either The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon on October 22, 2006, or the 31st Annual Marine Corps Marathon ^TM on October 29, 2006. Since 2001, more than 350 participants and thousands of donors have raised more than $700,000 dollars to support our vital programs and services.

This year, team members will embark on a very important run in which each and every stride will bring us closer to a cure for cancer. Join us in this effort to raise public awareness and funds crucial to the advancement of research, education and patient care.

You don't have to live in Washington, DC to join; we've had runners from all parts of the United States including California, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New York, and Georgia--and some overseas too!
