Home » Clinical CareThe Department of Mission and Pastoral Care"God gives vigor to the weary, new strengths to the exhausted. Those who hope in the Lord will gain new strength." (Isaiah 40: 29,31) We recognize that the diagnosis of cancer can bring about many spiritual issues and questions for some of our patients. Spirituality can also be an important source of strength and hope during one's experience with cancer. As a Catholic and Jesuit institution, Georgetown University Hospital draws inspiration from the healing ministry of Jesus, and is committed to the compassionate care of the whole person. The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center has dedicated chaplains who specialize in the spiritual and emotional support of oncology patients and their caregivers of all religious affiliations. Please feel free to contact them directly or ask your nurse case manager to facilitate a referral. Rev. Sharon Graham, Pediatric Clinic Chaplain Our Services
