Home » Clinical CareBrain Tumor ProgramThe brain tumor program at Georgetown has been providing a multidisciplinary approach for patients with brain tumors. Patients are evaluated by our neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists and oncologists for the several modalities of treatment: surgery, radiation, (standard radiation, stereotactic and brachytherapy) and chemotherapy, with standard chemotherapy or on protocol involving experimental therapy. At the brain tumor clinic we evaluate patients with primary brain tumors (glioblastoma multiforme, anaplastic astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, medulloblstoma, ependymomas and spinal cord tumors) and metastatic brain tumors.
