Biostatistics Master's Student Receives Award from Statistical Society

Lanlan Yin, a student in the biostatistics Master's program, was named an "Outstanding Graduate Student" by the Washington Statistical Society (WSS). Lanlan will receive a year of membership to both the American Statistical Association and the WSS. Additionally, she was invited to attend the WSS annual dinner.

The Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Biomathematics offers a three-semester Master's degree in Biostatistics with specific tracks in bioinformatics and epidemiology. The 32 credit program includes coursework as well as practical application of biostatistical methods.
