Speaker Bios


Amelia Baker, RD, LD, CNSC, Nutritionist, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center

Ms. Baker is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the District of Columbia. She holds the title of Certified Nutrition Support Clinician from the American Dietetic Association. Ms. Baker is passionate about Oncology Nutrition, and has been a clinical dietitian at Georgetown University for five years. She has been at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for four of those years, working with pediatric and adult populations. Ms. Baker has published in the journal Current Treatment Options in Oncology and was a guest on WAMU’s The Diane Rehm Show discussing new findings on food and weight gain in July 2011. Ms. Baker received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University. She then completed her Dietetic Internship from SUNY Stony Brook University.
